Dear OA Workshop Participants,
One of things we discussed in Auckland was a regional OA project to be submitted to the GCF. We also discussed that we would seek the GEF readiness programme to support us in putting this proposal together.
One of the requirement of the GEF readiness is a letter to SPREP (as an RIE) from your country GEF National Designated Authority (NDA) that you are willing to be in this project preparation/development. Kindly let us know if you need more information here.
As such I would urge you to start this conversation with your NDA. A list of your NDA is available from the SPREP web otherwise please contact Simon and copy me.
I’ve attached here the readiness template for your information.
